Legoland - Billund

It's not usually known for its food, but Legoland's new initiatives are helping people with dietary requirements eat at its parks.

When I visited Legoland I was surprised to find that every stall selling food had a poster declaring common allergens in its food. (Nuts, Gluten, Dairy, Lactose)

At the Hotdog Stand you can buy gluten free Frankfurters! - You would never expect them to be!

I think that this kind of labelling should be brought to Australian fast food, and also to dining in closed off areas such as concerts, theme parks, and festivals. An idea as simple as this could make a huge difference to people's lives!

I didn't actually try the food at Legoland, but considering some of it is GF, you should give it a try if you end up there one day.

For such a great concept, Legoland Billund should be commemorated.

  1. In legoland now, no frankfurters in any of the hot dog shops.
Went to a restaurant and waiters were not gluten aware. Intention is not enough from my point of view.
